How To Get The Girl

How To Get The Girl

Hey Guys! Hope your summer has been as amazing as mine. And hey, if it hasn’t, no worries! The girl of your dreams is just around the corner. I can feel it – and I’m going to make sure you do all the right things to get her. Let’s start with first impressions.

Compliment her. But do it genuinely. Nothing too cheesy or pick-up-liney. If you love her smile, tell her that. The truth is, it takes confidence in yourself to pay a sincere compliment to someone else – and there’s no better way to win us over.

Catch her eye. We might be busy batting our lashes and looking away, but if you happen to catch us eyeing you – look right back. A little eye contact can be so sexy and intimate.

Laugh at her jokes. Even if they’re a little silly.  It’ll keep the mood light and playful and make her feel like the goddess she is.

Wear something sexy. Like a fitted tee or leather jacket. And don’t forget your Curve! That signature scent will ensure that she won’t be able to keep her hands to herself.

Happy flirting!

Xo,

Audrina

The Best First Impression Ever

Ladies, I am a firm believer that you should always put your true, best self forward. You never know when a casual encounter is going to turn into something more – and no matter what happens, the first impression always outlasts the second. Second chances are a luxury, my friends, so make sure your answer to “how did you meet?” is a story you don’t mind retelling. Here’s my advice.

Engage, engage, engage

Take it from me, before a word is even spoken, watch your body language and facial expression! You want to put across openness and interest in this new guy. Adopt an approachable stance, make eye contact and try to use his name at least once in the conversation. It means way more than you know (and will help you remember it in the future, too).

Less is more

Everybody loves a good listener, so save most of your hilarious anecdotes for later. Making people comfortable enough to share freely about themselves is a wonderful quality. For extra points, ask a thoughtful follow up question.

 Show who you really are

Nobody’s perfect.  Don’t be afraid to show your flaws and be your true self – geeky, freaky — it’s all good, if he’s right for you.

Oh, and a spritz or two of Curve Appeal won’t hurt. That amazing scent is sure to draw him in!

Till next time,

Kevin

Grooming, Curve Style

Curve AppealCalifornia may be laid back, but not when it comes to grooming. Hair can be a huge turn on or a deal breaker – it all depends on what you like and where. Here are a few of my musts:

Chest – I like my men natural. If you’ve got it, flaunt it. Back hair though – is a universal no go!

Beard – I love a little scruff, but nothing too extreme. It can’t get in the way of kissing!

Hairstyle – Lately I’m all about the greaser look. Long but not too long – a little James Dean. Just add a classic white tee. The lucky guy who can handle that sweptback look can sweep a girl off her feet, for sure!

Extras – every guy has a few maverick hairs doing a solo act – maybe you don’t notice them anymore, but that cute new girl is likely to! So give yourself a good long look in the mirror, and banish anything that’s over the top.
And now, get ready to enjoy having somebody run her fingers through your hair, you’ve earned it!

The Getaway Plan

September is approaching fast, and that means it’s time to sneak in that last-chance weekend trip with your summer crush. I’ve gone on my share of romantic getaways – and have some advice on how to make those first 72 hours straight together memorable.
Take it easy – forget the pre-planned, nonstop itineraries. Leave some time for relaxing activities – beach trips, boat rides, drinks on the dock. It’s the spontaneous stuff that makes the best memories, I’ve always found!
Create comforts – go out of your way to make sure your other half has his favorites. If he never faces the morning without his hit of caffeine, you want to be sure that you don’t have to face him without it, either!
Make a pact to turn your phones off, and wrap yourselves up in learning about each other – it’s time to explore things you never knew about one another, like, what were your childhood dreams? Most embarrassing moment?
Pick a place that’s new to both of you – while nobody can guarantee that the closeness of this weekend will last forever, if you’re lucky, and it does, that place you found will always be your special place.
So, get in gear and get busy making some memories, while the summer sun shines!

My Summer Loves

Five things about women in summertime that I find pretty appealing:

The Sundress. It’s both innocent and sexy, and therefore irresistible. Though the romper is giving it a run for its money. Easy on, easy off, that’s an undeniable benefit to summer dressing, right?

Cut offs. Need I say more? I don’t think there’s much more I can say, without getting myself into trouble.

Sing-alongs. I love a weekend getaway with my girl. More specifically, the car ride. Windows down, hair blowing, watching my baby belt out her favorite songs. Those moments are the best.

The au natural look. Women tend to wear less makeup in the summer, which I prefer. I love a fresh, dewy, sun-kissed face.

Sense of adventure. Jumping waves, stargazing, going barefoot – the kid in all of us comes out in the summertime. Getting a glimpse of a girl’s inner child brings out the boy in me.

Wanna play?

Summer is Curve Season!

Being a California girl, summer has always been my time to shine. Here are just a few of my fave things about summer:
1. Wearing super-hot, strappy high heels, with a breezy little dress
2. Rocking a great pair of sunglasses (my accessory of choice)
3. Outdoor anything – sky diving, dancing under the stars, you name it, I love it!
4. Bikinis – of course! – I’ve been in so many different ones for swimsuit shoots, they’re kind of a collectible of mine.
5. Pool parties. Especially the very cool one I’ve got going this month, at the Mohegan Sun Resort & Casino. What an amazing place – I plan to have some ‘fun in the Sun’ long past dark, too. . . be sure to check out the curve appeal facebook page for photos!

The Curve Appeal Model Experience – How to do it up right in Manhattan!

Congrats, Lori Lollar, for your contest win — your curve appeal definitely comes across in your photo! Not only did you win an amazing summer getaway in the city – you also get to live out every girls’ dream: being complimented by the one and only. . . me. But in all seriousness, I totally agree with your winning line. A simple smile can change a mood, a night, a lifetime. And your pearly whites in particular did just that.

When you arrive in Manhattan for your model experience, be sure to check out some of my personally tested favorite places:

5th Avenue See-and-Be-Seen. Take a walk down luxury lane for some prime window shopping and people watching. Start at 50th and head north to the park.

The Central Park Boathouse. Gorgeous, timeless and incredibly peaceful. Row through some of your favorite scenes from Manhattan movies, then rent a bike and take a ride through the park. Sunset rides are highly recommended.

The Met Roof Garden Cafe. The views are unparalleled and the crowd isn’t too bad either. Mingle with socialite types atop some of the greatest artifacts known to man.

The Standard Hotel. This is the place for all your nighttime needs. Four bars, three eateries and at least two major celebrities hanging at each (I should know) – it covers your every New York City fancy.

Trust me, based on the Curve Appeal Model Experience that Audrina and I enjoyed last summer, you’re about to have the weekend of a lifetime. . . and some amazing photos to remember it by!

New Curves Coming to Town!

I admit I was totally stalking the Curve Appeal facebook page last month! I couldn’t wait to see who’d win the Curve Appeal Model Experience — every day of the contest, I’d spot some hot new face, and wonder who was going to end up with the most votes. You all are so gorgeous, it’s really a matter of being who you are, and getting noticed in the right places by the right people.
So, here’s a big shout out to the judges, who managed to narrow down all that talent to a few finalists, and to all of you, who helped choose the winners! And, wow, both winners – Harold Cartier and Lori Lollar – are gorgeous!
I loved Harold’s winning words, “Everyone deserves a little curve in their lives.” Besides, I couldn’t help noticing that he’s got that cool, dark and handsome thing totally down! I wouldn’t be surprised if he reminds Curve Appeal fans a little bit of my partner in crime, Kevin Zegers. My only advice to Harold and Lori is this: live it up every minute at your Curve Appeal Model Experiences this summer – I know I did. I’m excited to see how your photo shoots turn out!
So, way to go, guys, and don’t forget to smile!

The Dos and Don’ts of Dating Kevin

A lot of people like to ask me what I look for in a woman. And while it’s hard to describe that certain je ne sais quoi that us guys are after, we certainly have our own personal prerequisites. Here are a few no frills must-haves and have-nots from yours truly.

Do surprise me with a sexy six-inch heel every once and a while

Don’t
buy in to that whole clog trend (dudes don’t “get” trends, especially this one)

Do
have an opinion

Don’t agree with every little thing I say

Do have hobbies, passions and goals – it keeps me on my toes.

Don’t just talk about who is on the cover of the latest gossip rags (unless it’s me, of course)

Do
show interest in getting to know my friends

Don’t
show too much interest in getting to know my friends

Do take your time primping for a night out

Don’t be more than fifteen minutes late for a date

Do
try your best to impress my family, and my mom especially

Don’t
become her BFF and trade embarrassing Kevin anecdotes on each other’s Facebook walls

So, if by any chance I get to meet you someday, consider yourself well-armed to disarm me!

It’s May – Surprise me!

May is always a favorite time for me – at least partly because it’s my birthday this month!
Of course, when I get asked for birthday hints, I always have a list ready! I’ll share it with you now, and maybe it will give you an idea for a gift for the pretty lady in your life!
From my special guy, I hope I’ll be getting some new sexy wearables – luxury lingerie (La Perla or Wolford are a good place to start!) He’s also been known to give me amazing jewelry – something I can keep forever and even pass to my kids someday.
My family knows to pamper me with my go-to beauty products – Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour ® Cream, La Mer lotions, Bremenn 6 in 1 miracle cream, Evian Facial Mist Spray, Rosebud Perfume Co. Lip Balm and St. Tropez Self Tanner. . .and fragrance, naturally!
For an over-the-top gift to myself, I like to splurge on something like 7-inch Versace heels; I call them ‘must-haves’ for glitzy Hollywood events!
But the best gifts of all, I have to say, are the surprises – like taking me on an adventure I’ve never had before (last year’s surprise was skydiving; not sure if he is going to be able to top that!).
Can’t wait to find out what I’m going to be getting/doing/wearing when this birthday rolls around!
